2 week follow up

Went to the doctors today for my 2 week post-op, I lost 29.6 lbs. I am so happy and excited that I did. The last few  days I have been getting dressed and notice my shirts are getting big on me, I cant wear my usual Jewelry as it is to big for me, and falls off.

I did express my concern about the fact i was having problems keeping food in my system, however lately things seem to be getting better. He said he was not concerned about me not eating, as he doesn't believe I am malnourished. He did say I really need to get more proteins in a day, and keep the fluid intake up. I'm now searching for different protein drinks, as he said its my money if I want to buy protein drinks that's ok to try. Just need to watch the sugars and make sure I can tolerate them.

Besides the few concerns, he said everything is going well.

I am glad that your appointment went well. That is a fantastic weight loss and I can feel your excitement in your message. Keep up the good work and I just wanted to tell you that I love the Nectar protein shakes. They have some samples that you can order for $9.95, whi*****ludes shipping 1-866-333-7403, press option 1 for customer service. They send you 11 samples, one of each flavor and you can see which ones you like.  Also, Nectar is very low carb and very low calories with 23 g of protein.

best of luck to you.

I can't believe that it's been 2 weeks already! Both you ladies are great inspiration to me. My surgery will be next Friday and just the thought that I could lose that much so fast is amazing. That's what I lost last year after 8 months of Weigh****chers! Oh the blessings of WLS! Of course I know everyone is different so I'm trying to psyche myself up in case I'm one of the slower losers, so I won't become depressed and upset. But I am sure hoping for the best!

Keep up the great work!
