Hi All,
Surgery went well.
I am home.  I Slept so good in my own bed,  I never wanted to get out.
Thank you for all the good wishes.
Looking forward to all the ideas on eating healthy now.
Any help is greatly accepted.
Thank you again.

Congratulations Jean, welcome to the losing side of surgery.  Thank goodness for the splinterfree loser's bench, I don't want to need a splinter picker.  As far as the healthy eating, start by following your surgeon's plan.  Think high protein foods, getting fluids, supplements and exercise included in each day.  Let us know how you are doing and anything we can help with.

You can and will do what is needed for your health, you have now taken the big step, continue with the small steps needed to make the best use of your new tool.

Hugs, Kathy

Congrats Jean! So happy to welcome you to the loses bench. Glad to hear all went well. Sip sip sip, protein is the focus on intake other than water, and be sure to take lots of little walks to prevent clotting and help get rid of that gas pressure.
I look forward to watching you progress through the weight reduction!

Thanks all.  I am sipping and walking as told.  My son thought i was freaking out because I walk from one end of my house to the other.  I had to explain, this is the way i get my walking in,  I went to Wegmans (supermarket) yesterday,  My calfs are sore today.  I think I did too much,  Grocery shopping was actually fun.  I was reading lables and trying to find substitutes for when i'm ready to eat it.   My only problem now is I am constantly going to the bathroom.  The water is coming out of me like crazy.  It's driving me nuts.  I go every half hour.  Anyone else experience this?  Oh well, if thats the price I have to pay for now,  Take care all.
