Hi Vickie. I'm so sorry that this is continuing to be a problem for you. I know it's hard for all of us to imagine worrying about being TOO thin, but that is a problem that can and does happen sometimes.,as your experience shows. Have you looked around the boards for others that have gone through this? Maybe someone can give you advice on what might happen further down the road. I sure can understand your fear that habits you are having to develop now might be your downfall later. Try typing in "too much weight loss from WLS" or something similar and see what comes up. We want you to be healthy and feel in control and not have to worry about continued loss or later re-gain (any more than ALL of us have to worry about that part to some extent!) Hanf in there and you're in my prayers.
Hugs,
Rhonda

I can't imagine being where you are but I feel for you. You got me thinking about things that could put more weight on but don't really change the feel of the diet. For me, I know regular coffee creamer adds calories quick but is not too hard to give up if you have to. Protein bars that have more in them than we should normally have. Ummmm...... bacon? These are just crazy ideas off the top of my head. Things that I was able to give up because there are great substitutes out there that are WLS friendly. Adding calories in this way may make it easier to revert back to a normal WLS diet when necessary? Hope things get a bit easier for you soon.
