well today is a new day, granted i am late getting started, but better late than never.  right?!?  my husband and i have a catholic wedding to attend. it is our greatniece.  i sure hope there isn't a bunch of getting on your knees and such.  my knees just can't stand that.  one catholic wedding i went to a long time ago had a lot of that.  they are beautiful weddings though. this will be a small affair. we got them a coffee maker and a hand held mixer. hope they like them. after that, don't know.  we saw avatar yesterday in 3d, boy was it neat. it was sad also. reflected what we are doing to our world and to those who are weaker than us.  made me sad.  why can't mankind be just that----kind.  this is sthe only earth we have and we should be taking better care of it. also there are so many that need our help and not devious self centered plans to screw them out of what they have. oh well, off of my soap box.  hope you all have a wonderbar day. vick

We saw Avatar too last weekend and I was quite impressed. The "natives" kept reminding me of the American Indians - as I suppose they were meant to - and I loved the fluid movements, the wild green background, in fact the whole concept was great and well executed. The "bad guys" were the epitome of callousness and it was easy to identify all that is wrong with our society in them. OK enough of that.
I'm not planning anything for today. I slept in late and will probably jus****ch some TV or vegetate for the rest of the day.

Hey Vick, can't believe that yesterday slipped by so quickly.  Patrece and I worked on quilting project, went to the gym, cooked a little, sewed some more, the time just zipps on by, took the dogs for a short walk outside.  Keeping her off the smokes, no one smokes here, clean air home.  Oh, yes, the dogs insisted on attention several times.  We were up till 2 am sewing and visiting.  Slept in today, popped my eyes open for the second time at 1 pm.

Yep... I told Kathy this trip is good timing for my smoke quiting. I need the neutral envionment to totally kick this. It is hard at home with hubby smaoking..his breath, hair, clothes, everything on him smeels of smoke, then I know they are right out there in the garage.. makes weakness easier. I pitched what I had left of the smokes before boarding the plane to come here. Have not even considered getting any. I am doing very well withot them. Not crabby, or edgy. Have a nicotene inhaler I can use if the urge gets real bad. I might puff it once or twice maybe 3 tines a day, and thats about it. Paul is supposed to be quitting while I am gone, but doesn't sound like it is going so well yet. He called Candice and had her go buy him some yesterday. But he claims to be reducing it. Gonna give him gum, body spray, beath mints, oust and tell him after he smokes, use em and do not make me have to smell any of that nasty smoke smell on him or in the garage.

As far as whats up today..I have no clue.. we shall see!
