Bariatric Buddy
Today i begin!
Today is the first day of my 3 month supervised diet plan and my new way of life. I know it will be hard but i also know i can do it. I don't get paid until the 15th so i am not able to go shopping like i need to in order to get the foods i need. So i am going to do my best with what i have in my home until i am able to shop. I just need to stay focused and positive- I can do it!
Yes I believe you can do it, i;m a new coming to this whole thing but do have a surgery date for Jan 28th and I'm trying to wait patiently 2 more weeks any who i see your biog about new years and just want to pop in and say don't give it... hope this new year bring you all you wish for and more. remember love will find its way to you and then you'll know its right and was worth the wait...
Great so see another from MN here. Surgery is coming up soon. Yes, I like the spell check too, when I remember to use it. Post lots and let everyone here get to know you. Hugs, Kathy

Yes you CAN do it! Just take it one day at a time. And in about a month or maybe two, or even a week or two when you feel overwhelmed or discouraged, remember that is the time to take it just one moment at a time. There will be times this is all we can do.
I tell you this and it really applies to all of us no matter where we are in our journey, because we will absolutely all have moments of struggle and difficulty, no matter how devoted we are to making this work and being successful in the long term.
It is important for us all to keep in mind that the old saying "tomorrow is a new day" (which I recentlyused and should not have in a message to someone) is OUT the door for us. The next moment...the next opportunity to make a good choice, that is what we must embrace many times, as taking it a day at a time is sometimes just too big of a picture.
You CAN do it! Check in often, and let us help you along the way!

Shawn, do your best, things will fall into place. Use this time before surgery to develop as many of the good habits as you can. Start to exercise or walk a little if you are able. Hugs, Kathy
