I had my article published in a national publication

I wanted share a moment of personal accomplishment with all of you. I wrote an artilce back in July and submitted it for inclusion in the Obesity Action Coalition Magazine, which has been renamed to "your weight matters" magazine. The Obesity Action Coalition puts out this magazine as a national publication to its members. BUT non-members can read the magazine online.
This Month my article appeared in the magazine. They sent me a copy of the magazine and a very kind thank you letter. This was a little exciting for me, as i feel it is both a personal and professional acomplishment.

If any of you are interested in reading the article you can find it at:  http://www.obesityaction.org/magazine/ywm18/Getting%20Back%2 0in%20the%20Game.pdf

If you read it, let me know what you think!

That is a superbly written article Patrece.  Was this your first publication? If it was I could *NEVER* have known.  Great job!  Now you should get ready for your next one.

Congratulations on being published!  The article was outstanding and has prompted me to write into the group about some issues I'm having.

I have saved it to my computer so I can read it when I need some inspiration.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Hi Patrece and congrats on your excellent article!
Your article hit on so many points and what I like about your article is that it doesn't matter what stage you are in the WLS process, this article is for everyone.
Thanks again for sharing and I am going to join OAC as soon as I finish typing this post.
Is it okay if I print the article and pass it on to the members of the Orange County WLS Support Group?
Hugs
