Bonnie... protein (lack of) is the number one cause of post op hair loss. Biotin helps for sure. The kewl thing is Biotin helps with hair thinning and loss not related to the decreased protein too. I had a friend who's mother was wearing wiggs because her hair was so thin. I recommended biotin to her and within 8 months she no longer needed the wig. Her hair looks great! So I rally hope you get the same great results!
You are very welcome! Glad to help whenever I can!

Hi Bonnie, the stalls or plateau's come and go, just keep working the protein and fluids/exercise.  We will get there.  Patrece answered the biotin question, nothing new I can add.

Bonnie, I did the same thing...grabbed capsules when I should have been looking closer at the package. I tried doing what I do with another capsule I have to take...open it up and dissolve it in water, but BLECH!  It was too horrible to take.  So, I went back and looked for Biotin tablets and found them.  They are a much less potent strength than the capsules, but I manage.  Because I opened the bottle of capsules, I couldn't return them.  But that's ok...I was just glad to have found the tablets.

BTW...I found mine at WalMart.

Congrats Kathy, Wow!  What a way to start the new year.  You have done fantastic.    I was shooting for the same thing but came three pounds short.  Oh well, will be there soon hopefully.   You are truly a inspiration and I feel the same about exercise, it seems the more i do the more I crave which is a good thing for me at least at this stage of the game.   Hugs.....Anna
