Tuesday, what a day - and a wow too
It is so great to be in a home that has NO recreational sweets or any non-nutritious food. I did buy a bag of pretzels to go with hummus to take to a Christmas party. The hummus went like crazy and there was 1/2 a bag of pretzels left over which my hostess insisted I take with me. They have been calling me from the pantry now for 2 weeks and I am thinking that I am going to toss them in the trash for pick up on Friday. Yes, I ate a handfull of pretzels one day when I was feeling down, but the really BAD part is the voice from that pantry. ~~~ Naomi, I am in here waiting for you. ~~~ You know you want me as much as I want you. ~~~ You can eat just a few ~~~ ACKKKK It really distresses me. I have decided that throwing away 1/2 bag of pretzels is not the end of the world. My retirement doesn't hinge on the couple of bucks that I will throw away on Friday.
But, then there is that voice, and the craving for those salty, crunchy pretzels.

Yaaayy Kathy! Way to go. Like you, I'll be glad when all the holiday goodies are outta here and everyone is on their new years diets. Glad the new exercise choice shook things up for you. My DH turns 50 in February and I'm trying to figure out how to surprise him with a big celebration. Not an easy job easy with him. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Hugs,
Rhonda
