now it is time to start with exercising again.  i am going to try my gazelle again and see if my knees can hold up to it.  my knees really limit me to what i can do.  i can't get down on the floor and i can't do much walking, no running or joggin.  i also am weak in the knees so i can't balance on them.  i will overcome this though!!!!!  my goal is to start after the new yearl. wish me luck.  vick

Vickie,

I swear by Glucosamine Chondroitin w/ MSM. Have you tried that? It greatly helped my knee pain. My father in-law also had walking issues due to arthritis in knees and now he is so much better because of this. Give it a try for a few weeks and see how it works. They do make a chewable version as well at VitaminShoppe.

Regards,

Kevin

Wow Vick, what a great event to happen before Christmas.  Sooooo glad for you.  Start slowly with the exercise.  Then build up slowly.  Take the best care of yourself possible.  Merry Christmas.  Hugs, Kathy

YEAYYYYYY  VICK!!!!!  So glad that is finally behind you! I do wish you all of the luck in the world with getting back to the exercise routine, but like Kathy said, start slow and build.. don't over do it.. Especially don't do too much, as you can't afford to lose any more weight! Have you managed to get the weight going back up again at all?

Hope you are feeling awesome, now that you are all healed up. The exercise will help with the emotions too. Lots of endorphins to pick up our spirits through exercise.

have a wonderful christmas and New year!

Oh by the way, the Card I sent to you came back to me.. I was not thinking and accidentally put MY zip code where yours should have gone.. Duhh on me. I will resend, but it will be late.. So sorry! But please know I love ya and wish you the best of the holiday season!

I'd be happy at 135 too! lol. But in one of my plateau modes and stuck at 161.. Should be moving anytime now..

I'm late and trying to catch up on all you buddies- that's great news Vickie! Was that from your hernia operation? I'm glad to hear your weight loss is pretty stable now too.  My nut. warned me that my Gazelle could be hard on my knees, but I have found it to be less irritating to them than any other kind of exercise. Of course, I don't have artificial knees and mine aren't in real bad shape yet, but now I know I won't have to worry about them becoming that way. Thank God for WLS! Take care and I hope you're soon feeling great from being able to exercise and get back in shape!

Hugs,
Rhonda
