Wow, this is the best week.  Those having surgery are giving themselves the best gift this year.  I applaud each and every one of you.  This week, we will welcome for following to the loser's bench.  Please add any others that need surgery support this week.  Those who have had surgery in the last few weeks, how are things going for you?

Dec. 21 Kim M. (kncoolone), amm52, Marci M.,

The rest of the week is devoted to the celebration of the season.  Merry Christmas everyone.

I also want to include a special quick recovery wish for Linda (JustMeee0609) who is having shoulder surgery on the 23rd.

Thank you ladies!

I am so excited! Though I know by the end of the week I will be asking myself what the !@# I did.  Please remind me that I did this to be healthy, I did this so I could walk easier, I did this so I don't have to have knee surgery.  I did this to help my ashma.  I did this for me!

XOXOO Marci

10 lbs of this weight was lost prior to surgery

Marci...WILL do! For most people, it isn't too awful post-op. The first couple of days are the worst for pain. Then more tenderness than anything, except when trying to chage positions. You will have some crampy pains, that is from the air they put in there for the suirgery. best you can do to get rid of that is frequent small (very small if need be) walks. This helps work the air out and also prevents clotting!
You are going to do great!
BIG HUGS!
Check in when you are able!
