Got my Wii installed

I have had a Wii for a few months, just couldn't get it wired in and working.  borrowed my brother to help me.  It is now installed with everything working.  Bowled my first game with him at 2:30 this morning, scored 129.  Not bad for a rookie.  Last time I was bowling, I was a teenager.  I anticipate frequent use of my EA active.  Going to try it later.  Needed sleep last night, still contemplating more sleep.

I can't believe that we were up that late working on computer and TV wires.  He also installed my wireless router so my new laptop could have internet access.  Yup, got myself a toy, a laptop.  A little celebration of my efforts to this point.  Feels good to celebrate with something other than food.

Have a great Sunday everyone.  Hugs, Kathy

If you dont have it already, I love the wii fit! the hola hoops, and step games are my favorite. I borrowed the game from my sister, for before and after the surgery for days like today ( snowed in with 18 inches on the ground) ... hope you enjoy your wii

I still have not managed to take the time to hook up my Wii since our move. I really need to do this. I love the active too! That and then the sports game that came with the console are the only games I have. Am thinking of getting the fit  ultra (?) ...the newest version of the fit.  But heck.. does me no good if I do not hook the doggone thing up. IF I do not have it hooked up by Christmas, I am gonna get my son to hook it up for me.

Kathy, glad to see you rewarding yourself with something nice and non food! Good for you gal!
HUGS!

We were discussing all our new electronic gadgets at dinner last week. Technology has really been making so many leaps forward lately. Then we started discussing Wii exercise programs and games. Suddenly my goddaughter (6 years old) says "Isn't technology wonderful?". Kinda floored me. Kids minds seem to be leaping forward right along with technology.

I'm about 10-12 pounds away from the weight limit for the balance board. Almost there. We've got Fit and Jillian Michaels. I plan on trying them out soon. I'm probably close enough to the limit that I won't hurt the board. If I do there are a few new programs that use a camera sensor instead of the board. My skin and it's contents are getting so loose already. I need to work to tighten things up as much as I can on my own as I go. Walking alone isn't going to get that job done.
