Chris, Welcome to the bariatric buddy group and to the losing side of surgery. Could be your new stomach complaining about something. Take frequent small sips, try different temperature fluids. I know that my pouch prefers most fluids room temp or warmer. Then the pouch also craves, well I do, popsicles. I go through a couple boxes a week.
Call your MD to see if there are any other possibilities. Never be afraid to consult the surgeon's office. The staff are there for help too.
Hope someone else pops in that may have better ideas. Hope this resolves quickly. Take care, Kathy

I agree too much air or too my in each drink. Be sure your sips are no more than that.. little sips. Also, if this is persistant even with tiny sips and different temps of liquids contact your surgeon. may not be a bad idea to contact him / her anyhow, just to be safe.
