Workout clothes.. hmmm

Well I went through all of the clothes I wore when I was going to curves before. Seems i need to go get some new ones. They are falling off of me!

Now i have to say that I am not real fond of most of the styles that are out there right now. I have looked at walmart.. not impressed really. Don't like all the 3/4 legnth ones, or the ones that have the wide bottoms. Then when I do find pants I like, can't seem to find a matching top. Think I will go to JC Penny's and have a look there. My MIL gave me a $50 gift card for my birthday in October, so will take that and see what I can come up with.

Where do you guys find your workout clothes? Or do you just go with plain ole sweats?

You will find me in a plain t-shirt and a pair of comfortable stretch pants for working out.  Nothing fancy at all.  Seems like we are chasing each other around the group giving answers, and both on the same wavelength as usual.  Love ya, Kathy

I normally look for workout clothes at the clearance centers in most large sporting shops(like DIcks). I swear by the spandex running shorts(knee length, but full length leggings for the cold months). I normally go with basic black or grey then choose my shirts in the wicking material of different colors.
For me, I have so much extra skin that moves, the spandex stuff keeps me from "working against" myself. I jog daily and go to the gym and you see people in all different things- so wear what you are comfortable to wear. Thinking back to this morning, I couldn't remember what anyone there was wearing. Just  getting the job done is the important part.
It is fun to update occasionally- I always do that when I have another race coming up.
I do play in a tennis league and that is the only place where "what" you wear matters-they are a skirts only league" and when you are talking about a bunch of women, sometimes a polished tennis skirt and top are necessary.

Hi Patrece, like Kathy I wear what ever is comfy at this point whether it is sweats and t-shirt or my knit leggings.   Like you I did reach a point where I had to break down and buy a couple pairs of sweats though because like I told you before I'm sure I was losing my old ones.   I will probably go buy some new spandex shorts I think in the spring maybe and maybe even the long spandex but for right now haven't wanted to spend the money on a lot till I get close to my goal which is less than 25 lbs away now so maybe about bandiversary time we will go shopping for new workout clothes.   I like to make sure I have my sweats for when my husband and I go walking now that the weather has gotten cooler it seems like the cold really goes right straight thru to the bone when I wear my older baggier clothes.  lol.  Good luck and have fun shopping for your new workout clothes.   Hugs...Anna
Enjoying the taste of goal.   Down 117 lbs.

Thanks all for the suggestions and your thoughts on what you like to wear. Maybe thats the thing I need to do is to get out of the work out / exercise clothing areas and just look at what is comfy.
Thanks!

i haven't worked out since august or maybe even march.  i can't really remember. i miss it, but with the open wound, hernia and this and that i haven't been able to.  when this wound is healed, garage look out. i did go roller skating for about 10 minutes this last saturday. my knees and back killed me. those damn skates are way too heavy. i could kill somebody it i slipped and my legs went way up in the air and i kicked a kid in the head. lollllllllllllllll  i usually would wear a t shirt and a pair of shorts no matter what time of year. now my shorts are wayyyyyyyy to big. i think they are 3x's.  i will need to get a new pair of short. sometimes i exercise in the nude, i just put a towel over the window. we have aa heater in the garage.  can u imagine a peeping tom, boy would they pass out, back then from fat and now from floppy skin and wrinkles.  vick
