Hello, my name is Bonnie. My stepmom Anna sent me here, She had the lapband and I had my rny surgery on the 14th of august. I weighed 340 at that point not really my highest. My highest was 385 and I knew at that point I was in trouble. I had the surgery done because i had been overweight my entire life and watched my aunt who was close to the 400 mark die from complications of it and I didnt want to follow her path so I decided to do something about it and I am glad more and more each day that I did. At last weigh in on this past Thursday I weighed 268. I have almost lost a hundred pounds and boy do I feel better I am able to do more things and finally catch my kids, lol. I have two children that live with me and one that is with her dad, I am also married. My childrens names are Angel( My oldest), Dakota (Kody for short), And Becky she is the youngest. I also have three step children all teenagers, Timmy Brittany and Michael. I recently moved with my little family ( the steps stayed with their mom, and Angel is with her dad) and got out of a home where me and my husband supported nine people including ourselves and I had no weight loss support there. Somehow I managed though. Well I have probably bored you all to tears by now so I will let you all go!  Hugs and lots of Love Bonnie

So glad to see your post Bonnie.  Wow, amazing success with your work in progress.  Congrats on the loss, your move and the support you are seeking.  No, not bored at the least.  Please come back often and share your thoughts, opinions, support, questions.  Hope to see you at monday evening chat sessions.  The bariatric buddy chat room access is in the box to the right, above Patrece's photo.  We start visiting at 6 pm central and end when we are chatted out or people need to wander off to attend to other things.

Thank you Anna for pointing Bonnie to our group.  We are like one big, extended family.  All here to support one another.

So glad that you changed the direction your life was headed Bonnie.  Keep in touch.  Hugs, Kathy

Hi Bonnie. Wow, sounds like you are doing great, especially with all you've had to deal with. This site has wonderful support, especially if you don't receive it anywhere else. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hugs,
