Tuesday thoughts

Well, we have another beautiful Tuesday on our hands.  I see that I am the first up and at em on the buddy board this morning.  Started my day with cottage cheese and a bit of pineapple.  Mixed up my first bottle of crystal light, cranberry flavor today.  Noticed that I must have had damp hands when I handles the red powder, red finger from the crystal light food dye.  OH NO, I've been caught red handed, lol.

Today I am packing up my ornament for the ornament exchange, Kim, it will be in the mail later today.  Then starting to dig through the pile of papers on the desk.  Amazing how fast they accumulate.

I slept after chat last night, got up with the intention of going to the gym for a while before retiring for the night, yeh right.  I started to answer Patrece's thread on wls, got involved and next thing you know, I was eshausted and back to bed.  Slept until 9 am, now I feel like I can function.  The extra work shift zapped me.

Have a great day everyone.  What do you have planned?

hahaha... caught red handed.. you are a hoot Kathy!
Today I have to go paint the last room in the mobile rental. the flooring will be getting put down tomorrow, and want to finish the painting BEFORE that happens, as i prefer not having to worry about the new flooring while I paint. I have part of the room done, so just a bit left to paint.

Then at 5 pm I have my live wls support group meeting. Not sure how the turn out will be due to the weather, but I'll be there.

I thought you might be overdoing the extra shift thing ms. Kathy! Remember you have to take care of you too!

Hugs!
Everyone have a great day!

I'm back to work after a busy weekend.  We had a guest, dear friend from San Francisco, visit us for the weekend.  We kept pretty active.  Took him to the airport late yesterday afternoon and came home and napped!  Then last night we took pictures of the dog for our holiday cards.

Today I'm back to work and very busy.  Then tonight is our monthly support group at the hospital we had surgery.  So... not exactly sitting around.   This time of the year seems to be really full of activities, and I like that some of it is easier for me to manage now.

Hello Buddies!

It's a snowy day in Central Iowa.  We are forecasted to end up with 10 - 14 inches by tomorrow and to have blizzard conditions beginning this evening until at least noon tomorrow.  My kids are getting out of school two hours early and my office is closing will be closing at 1:30 this afternoon.  I wouldn't be surprised if we are snowed in tomorrow.  In fact, I am totally hoping that we are cuz that would be so AWESOME!  I love to have a SNOW DAY before Christmas.  Listening to Christmas music while wrapping presents, decorating cookies or doing crafts with the kids, watchingChristmas movies in front of the fireplace ... all good stuff but DOUBLY GOOD when we get to do it on a "FREE" day!

I hope that all of you have a wonderful day!

I am preparing for some nasty weather in NEPA. Suppose to snow then turn to a mix. So I am taking the kids outside to enjoy this sunny day cause I dont think we will get outside for a couple days. I figure this horrible weather leaves for gift wrapping and I am going to try an excerisize (trying to drop 20 lbs before my surgery).
Hope everyone has a great tuesday

Hope you got your day in the sun with your kids.  Take care if the weather turns bad.  Good to see you here and sharing.  What kinds of exercise are you working on?  I know it is hard to lose before and during the holidays.  I have faith that you will succeed.  I had a great day, hope you did too.

Thanks Kathy I did have a pretty good day. I have been trying to do alot of walking and crunches. I am also using a balloon to exercise my lungs before surgery. It is hard to lose during holidays, but after Thanksgiving I went to my dietican and lost 1.6lbs, so I guess thats a start.
