Yep!! 12/3/2009 was date of lapband surgery for me. Had to spend the night at the hospital, but everything went better than great. Four hours after surgery, I was walking in the halls of the hospital and drinking my 1 oz of fluids per 15 minutes. No need for pain medication, just feel sore. Got home on 12/4 and still following the regiment. My daughters are soooooooooo ready to take me clothes shopping and I am ready for it as well. Haven't bought any new clothes since decision to have surgery, so clothing is priority. Thanks to all out there that have kept the information and encouragement flowing.

Hi Carol, Let me officially welcome you to the losing side of surgery.  Congratulations.  Enjoy shopping with your girls, just a couple of outfits, they won't fit for long.  Keep following your plan.  Hugs, Kathy

Good for you Carol. Hope you continue to do just as great all the way to goal. It's always encourageing to hear about the people who have a good surgery experience!

I hope you have a ball buying your new clothes as the weight starts to fall off. I daydream about that myself LOL!
