Bariatric Buddy
Good morning everyone...
Hope you all have a wonderful week, and I hope to make it to chat tonight if my daughter doesnt call me to babysit again. Like she has the past 3 days at about 5 pm.
It is getting colder here in Arkansas at a steady pace. It doesnt usually snow very much here, but it gets cold as blazes, and we have ice storms. Hope this year is not as bad as last year.
Everyone eat healthy today, and have a great day, I have some housework to do, but I will be checking post throughout the day. And doing some more reading on the bopards.

Love the graphic Linda, you have talent there girl......
I too am looking forward to chat tonight. I will set my alarm to remind myself to get up at the right time. Housework, ughhhhhh, not for me today. Will do a bunch on my day off, Wed.
I looked out the window from work before leaving this morning, couldn't tell if the streets had a little snow or a lot of frost. Cold enough when I got outside for either and both. I do think it looked more like frost. The wet ground has firmed up nicely with the cooler temps.
I echo the thought on eating healthy. Getting ready for the next holiday anyone? Done shopping after the 4 day weekend? Not me. I did start my wish list for my husband. He is going to be very surprised by what I want for Christmas. What do you have on your wish lists? Come on and spill the desires.
Top of my list is the gift I want most from my husband. I want him to be my exercise buddy, looking forward to many more years together and I want him to be healthy too. Couch potato days are over for the most part for me. I feel so much better when I get in my walks each day. I know that I am asking a lot from him. Just wanted to share my initial wish for this year. I have other ideas forming in my head as well, none of them cost much money, they all involve his time and energy.
Well my friends, off for some much needed sleep. Hugs to all, Kathy

Good morning Linda, Kathy and everyone else!
Yep I agree beautiful graphic Linda! Love it!
Keeping busy can be a good thing, but too busy is a bummer.. and that..I have been.. too busy. But I think in a couple weeks all should be settled down. I have the house we just moved from rented out, and one side of the duplex rented out, and it is looking good that the other side wil be rented very soon. Have an application out on it, i will be getting back today. So, will know soon, and have another interested if that one does not work out. Last BIG project is to get the mobile home finished up and I have a potential elderly renter for that. Have one room left to pain in there, then have to have the new flooring layed, then final clean up on it. It would have been done long ago, but had to have the furnace replaced in it. Once the other duplex and trailor is rented, I am hoping everything will really settle down around here a bit, then I can finish putting this place together. I have 12 windows, just upstairs I have to get curtains and rods for. Then the fun part.. hanging them all! These are the things Paul used to help with. Miss having his help.
Have a wonderful day everyone. I am off to the sureons office in colorado springs today for an ultrasound on my galbladder. Something going on in there and the endoscopy came back great, so hopefully today we will locate the troubles and be able to arrange to have it all taken care of. Of course would be better if it is not galbladder, as that will require surgery, which would put it pretty close to my plastics. But if it is, as long as I get in lots and lots of protein, I should be good to go on both counts.
Hugs to All! Have a wonderful day!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Beautiful, Linda! Hope ypu have a good week too. It's getting pretty cold here in Eastern NC too, below freezing by Friday night. But in a few days it'll be back in the 60's or 70's again. That's how our weather goes here. Speaking of cold, how do you all fare as far as your body "thermostat"? I know several WLS people who are freezing most of the time, even in our long HOT summers. I know with the initial WL you lose your insulation and feel cold, but I'm talking about people several years post op.
Patrece, your post makes me tired just reading about all you are doing. I thought my life was hectic. I know it must be tough having to do it all these days without your husband being able to help. We take all that for granted until we don't have it any longer, just like a lot of things I guess. Hang in there and take care of yourself. Hope you don't need GB surgery.
Kathy, I have only bought 2 presents so far. I'm not a black Friday shopper ever and I'm getting a slow start this year. On Thanksgiving day my large family drew names for the first time ever and that will be different but be a help also in these tight times. I'm trying to think what to put on my wish list/ Don't want clothes because I hope they'll soon be too big.! I do want a magic bullet and a lunch box that I can keep MY food with in when we (or I) go places. Haven't come up with anything else. Any suggestions of things that would be helpful after surgery?
Hugs to all,
Rhonda
