Once again I have been MIA - Sorry - I have no excuse really - just the same ole one SCHOOL, still emotionaly recovering from the miscarraige and going through yet more emotions with my cousing missing......
I am almost finished with school though for a while --- I graduate from Ashford University in Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Criminal Justice on December 12!!! I will still have 10 weeks of school left after participating in the graduation ceremony so my "official" graduation date will be March 8... But there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! I then plan to substitute teach while I continue my education by attaining my Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Forensic Counseling which should take approximately 2.5 - 3 yrs to complete. My plan is to start on my Masters in September -- I am in DIRE NEED of some time away from the class room, as I have been a student since August 2004 when I started college at the ripe old age of 39 and graduated in May 2007 with my Associates Degree in Social Work.
I will be flying to Iowa on Dec 4 and will stay with my daughter Ashley, her hubby Josh & my wonderful granddaughter Abigail (which turns 1 on Dec 15!! Time sure flies!!!) for a week before graduation, Hubby will fly out on Dec 11 to watch me walk across the stage and we will then fly back to Ohio together on Dec 13... I am exited as I recieved my Cap, Gown, Tassle, Invitaions and Addmitance tickets for graduation in the mail today -- I am also very excited to visit my granddaughter!!! I just saw her 2 weeks ago when they all drove up for an early thanksgiving together, but I can NOT get enough of my gradaughter !!!!!!
I think I have rambled on long enough.... Hugs to all-- Hope everyone has a great day!!

Phyllis, continuing to keep you and your family, now even more family in my prayers. Good to see light at the end of the education tunnel. Congratulations on getting to the next level. Enjoy your celebration. Really enjoy the time with your grandchild. They are true gifts from God. Relax and use a moment to care for yourself too. Hugs, Kathy

Congrats on being so close to graduation! I am very proud of you. I don't know that I have enough focus and mental retention anymore to go back to school for anything..lol. Well I might.. but...
Nice to hear from you. Enjoy that Grandbaby! I know just what you mean there!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hey Phyllis..
I am just wanting to touch base and let you know you have all been in my heart thoughts and prayers. Have you gotten any news on your cousin yet? Praying she will be found safe.
