I got my surgery date today!

I got my letter from the insurance company approving me, and the Dr's office called to schedule the appointment about an hour later.  It's so EXCITING!!

Yes, I was approved for an Adjustable Gastric Band.  My doctor uses both Lap Band and Resolve band, so I guess I'll get the one he recommends.  They seem to be very alike and both very successful.

Congratulations Karen ! ! !  And the date is?????  So happy for you.  Take all this in stride, I recall the feeling of knowing that I was finally getting to the surgery time.  Hoot, hooot, hot....Yippeeeeeee

January 14.  Truthfully, it feels like I just started trying to get the operation.  I'm exceedingly lucky with my insurance company.  Thanks for the jumping bean!
