Reality check
So yesterday (Saturday) my hubby, my niece (3yrs old) and I decided to go to cowtown (our local flea market) to walk around. Spoiled the little munchkin with a new blanket, a hat, gloves, and hair stuff. Just having a good time. Well we came to a booth that sold football jerzeys, well I really wanted one to wear on game days like my hubby's, this guy had the cutest pink Women's football jerzeys, so I got my size (2XL) hubby asked I 2 or 3 time will that fit you I was sure it would, didn't open the package to look, spent the $40.00 and got one, was all excited it is sooooo cute and I finally got one to wear with my hubby
Well we did some more walking ( about a good steady, non stop, 45 min to an hour walk) went back to the car, and came home, was putting all the stuff away and playing with the little one, opened the shirt and BAMMMMMMM ... it hit me, it was not big enough for me, I thought I was gonna cry. Ughhhh ... ... But I decided not to get to bummed out, and hung it on my closet door, and make it my goal to fit in it one day, and then make sure it is over sized! But it was a dose of reality! Made me up set, but now every time I see it I smile cause I know I will fit it and be healthy when I wear it.
In a way i am glad it does not fit, cause I didnt want to buy new clothes right now, but I now have a goal to look at.

Hey there Melissa, way to go on seeing the positive side of things. Also way to go on the long walk. Sounds like you and your niece had a blast. Nice to look forward to wearing the jersey in the future, and that it will be too big then. Good to have goals. Hugs, Kathy

Melissa,
I'm so sorry the jersey didn't fit but WTG on maintaining a positive attitude. Not only will you wear that jersey one day, but you there will also come the time when it is just too darn big to wear!
I have one "goal" shirt myself. A Harley-Davidson ladies purple T-shirt that I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Melissa,
Just think, in a few months it'll be too big and you can wear it as a nightshirt! You are gonna do great with that positve attitude and it sounds like you are already getting into a healthy mind set as far as making exercise fun!

Melissa, I think you and I have the same shirt issue. I went to Alaska this past August and bought the coolest orange sweatshirt. It was a size 2XL. I have many sweatshirts ranging from XL to 2 XL and wear them often. Well guess what, as I was putting on the sweatshirt I got stuck. Yes as funny as that sounds there I was with my arms up in the air the sweatshirt over my head and shoulders and I could not move. I am expecting that will become one of my favorite sweatshirts in about a year. Good luck reaching that goal
