Just want to say thank you to all who have responded to this post and shared thier successes and shared mine with me.
I agree that reading of the successes of others is very helpful to each of us. I also believe it helps reading of the difficulties as well.  We learn from all of it and help each other in the process.

Welcome Karen! So glad you have joined in here! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!

Anna.. you ARE gonna get there! Sounds like you are kicking butt at curves! You are doing 3 back to back sessions. WOW!
I have been very busy in deed, and its not over yet.  How do I get myself so overloaded??? LOL. I am still trying to get settled in to the new house, and NEED to get the old one clean and ready to rent out, am trying to work on getting my business off the ground, trying to keep up with keeping this place clean, helping my daughter with things, taking a class...ahhhhh just thinking about it all makes me want a nap..lol. Keeps me outta trouble tho.

You all have a wonderful evening and I hope you all continue to share your joy, struggles, and wisdom.
Hugs!

Great news Patrece!  I love thinking of weight being eliminated, I don't want to find it again either!  I thought I would share something I heard a WLS patient say during one of the support group meetings I went to.  She said she likes to focus on what she has gained instead of the pounds lost.  That had me thinking, with this tool we all have the opportunity to gain so much.  I can't wait to join the club :)

Lourdes, That woman is very wise! We do gain so much. Just like it is great to be a loser for us...sometimes gaining is not a bad thing either! Thank you for sharing such an inspiring insight.  Where are you in the process now? My brain is tired from overuse, and I just cannot recall.. sorry...
Hugs!
