Love my job

Morning everyone.  Just dropped in to say that I am not even close to being ready to go to sleep this morning.  I am running on an adrenaline buzz.  Assisted in welcoming a new life into the world this morning.  I get the best feeling from watching the bonding between the new parents and the infant.  I will wind down in a bit and be able to sleep.

My day also included a trip to the clinic for my follow up visit.  The phone rang shortly after I got home and my appt has been changed again.  This is the second time it has been rescheduled.  Tis OK, I will get better sleep this way.  Looking at sleeping as long as I need instead of getting up in a short 3 hours to start the drive to the clinic.  Always a sunny side to any disappointments.

The early morning fog burned off quickly and the day looks to get beautiful.  Taking the critters out for a long walk after I get up later.  Have a great one yourself.

I thought you were supposed to have the day off? But nothing like those precious little new lives! Ahhhh I want one! lol... Oh yeah I have one on the way.. well...my daughter does, but she will share!

I was hoping to be able to stay home on 'call' due to lower census last night.  Co-worker called in ill.  I am off for the next few days now.  Let's see if I answer my phone if it rings from them. lol  I usually do.  The fun parts of the job way outweigh the other parts.  pun intended

Kathy - you have such a great attitude!  I need to remember to make lemonade when life hands me a lemon.
