You may be getting some air, but my guess is you are eating tooo quickly. It should take 20 to 30 minutes to eat even the tiny amount you are eating. I used baby utensils for the first few months to regulate my bite sizes. You also may not be chewing enough.  It takes our bodies about 20 minutes to send the message to our brains that we have had enough to eat. Thats why they want the meals to take so long to eat. The amounts given are the maximum amounts we are to eat, but if we feel satisfied before we finish that amount, we are to stop eating right away. Sounds lie you are getting overfilled and eating too fast to know you are full until you are actually over full.

In the beginning, I could never eat the full amount of food I was allotted...so try to slow down and chew chew chew. Then if this continues follow up with your surgeon as strictures are not unusual either. BUT I am thinking it is eating too quickly and maybe too much.

Please let me know what you find after trying this.
Good luck, and I really hope this helps you!
Hugs!
