Hello To everyone,
Let me introduce myself my name is Rosenda my I go by Rose.. I had my surgery Nov. 4,2009... so I am now on the journey to weight loss and a new life... I am from a small town in california..so I had to go out of town to have my surgery done.. I have not met alot of people who had this done. until my dr. suggested it.... which I completely trust because my dr. had it done...
so here I am to share my story I weighed in at 372 lbs a mother of 2 girls one is 22 and one 14.. I have been heavy my whole life.. and at age 49 i guess you can say I am ready to live my life.. I have alot of support from my family .. my brother and sister and niece and nephews.. and ex- husband.. and friends..
I am able to start on my soft food diet today from what the dr. has said.. and every thing is well.. I have lost another 13 lbs this wk.. all together 25 since leaving the hospital.. all together since the suggested weight 43 lbs.. so I am looking forward to new friends

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
As for me...you and Ihave a lot in common. I had my surgery 11/3, live in a small town and had to go way out of town for the surgery, have the support of my family and friends but never really knew people who had the surgery, and am 47.
But, I am still on liquids! :( Can't wait to start on soft foods, which hopefully I will tomorrow after my post-op appointment (for which we have to leave the house at 7:15 to make the 10:00AM appointment!).
Be well...take care of you...and keep on with your wonderful weight loss success!
