Yeeee hawwwwww... My non scale victory today!

I went today to get a couple of pairs of pants and a couple of tops, as I am down to next to nothing that fits. I "knew' I needed a size 12 pant, so only tried on the shirts, as I had the same pair of pants already and knew how they fit. The lady at the clothing store told me "try em on.. I know you have lost more since last time you were here". So to satisfy her and prove to her it was the right size, I humored her and tried them on.. what do ya know...I left with 2 pairs of size 10 pants! Wowwweeeeeee did this suprise me. My weight has not gone down, but I guess all the work I have been up to has replaced some fat with muscle!
I am very pleased with the downsizing!   Weight Loss Surgery...when its great to be a loser!

Happy happy joy joy! lol

That is just great , and when you least expect what a way to have a great day.  Im very happy for you. I know that scale can be so misleading sometimes. Pat yourself on the back.

Just think... Tuesday you will be on the losers bench and you will have lots of accomplishment and weight loss ahead! Congrats again!

It did feel great Sukie.. Thanks! I was asking the sales lady... "ok..you guys went to vanity sizing didn't you?" LOL But after there I went to walmart and wouldn't ya know it, a 10 fit there too!

being heavy for so long, really plays games with ones mind. I do NOT see myself as slender enough for a size 10...or even a 12 for that matter. Its funny, even now, when I am shopping for or looking at clothing in the regular size department, I feel like others in the area must be thinking, "umm the plus size s are over there lady..."  So odd. Ahhh dysmorphia..   thought I'd never struggle with that...but I do.
