Does anyone have any information on this juicer he advertises on those infomercials? Has anyone used it during the post op phase?
I just ordered on thinking it should be good for getting fruits and veggies in and it will make them liquidy to be able to use.
Any thoughts? Any comments? Any experience?

Hi Carol, I think I saw the add once.  I find that I need to chew for satisfaction.  Good idea to make healthy juices, just remember getting the protein in first will be of importance after surgery.  I had RNY so my experience will be different from yours.  Others will come in and add their thoughts.  Best wishes for your success.  Hugs, Kathy

I know what you are saying, but I thought adding the protein powder would help with getting the protein. I just ordered the juicer through a rewards program at my bank and am hoping that it gets here in time for the liquid part of the diet, I mean program.  I have been working on getting the last of the weight off that I need to before surgery and have been doing liquids during the day and small meal with family at night.  Just started, so i do not know the results just yet. So i have been experimenting with different fruits in my protein shake. What have others done to have variety with taste and texture during the liquid part??

I didn't get much choice during the liquid phase, needed to get 5 no sugar added carnation instant breakfast servings with extra protein in a day, any other things I was allowed were broth, sf jello, sf popsicles, V8 juice.  Didn't have room for much else.

Ok, I forgot, each treatment has different programs. I had to attend a class that went into great detail of what we could and could not have and I thought the juicer would give me more variety. Surprizingly, the staff that did the dietary class did not have any information.

I would say if it is an acceptable food itrem for your wls program, go for it, and please DO add the protein to it so you heal well!

I have a juicer...different brand, but find i rarely use it, as it is a pain to clean up after I am done using it.
