Veterans Day has arrived, thinking of those serving the country, present and past.  Praying that they all make it home safely.

It is a cool, cloudy day here in northern MN.  Headed out for a dog walk before it starts to rain.  Just arrived home from work and still have a little energy left over.  Oscar and Gretta are prancing by the door in anticipation.  I notices with yesterday's walk that my walking pace has sped up a little, Dennis was lagging behind.  His idea of a walk is for leisure, not for exercise.  I took the long way around a couple of areas where he took the shortcut.  Burned off some of my excess energy that way.

Planning to sleep when I return.  Other plans are the usual, water, protein, supplements and gym later on.  How is your day shaping up?

Good morning and like you Kathy I am thinking of the veterans in my family and around the world.   My dad was a veteran of world war 2 so he is on my mind a lot today.   It is a absolutely gorgeous day here in sw ohio again today.   Going to be a bit cooler today but nothing major and the sun is shining beautifully.   I started my day out again this morning with another 90 minute workout at curves so we are now 3 for 3 this week and plan to go walking again this evening.   We actually walked for about 30 minutes last night.   I can definitely feel the difference with my legs and hips, they are getting stronger.   The back is hanging in there, but did feel a bit uncomfortable with the walk last night.   Could be I upped the distance a bit last night.   Going to get the ole paint brush and roller out again today and Make a turkey meat loaf for dinner tonight with steamed veggies.   Have a good day and we will catch ya later.  Hugs.............Anna

Thanks Patrece, I keep on plugging at it and I know it is a long hard journey.   I actually think that I have kind of plateaued out right now it seems anyway.   I have added more activity with the extra walking every day which feels really good to me for the most part and shooting for a full week of exercise at curves.    Just finished my breakfast of cottage cheese and peach slices while watching the news and waiting for time to go workout and get my day started.   Want to come back home and get some more painting done if at all possible.   Congrats on your new addition to your family and your new home.   Wow, a lot of new beginnings huh.    It is really great that Candy has been blessed with a little one.    I'm sure mom (gramma) make sure that all bases have been covered as far her and baby getting all of their nutritional needs met.   Well got to go for now so have a great day and don't over work getting settled into that new home of yours, you have plenty of time.   Take some time for patrece and pamper yourself.   You deserve it.   Hugs..............Anna

Hey Anna,
The plateaus will come and they will go and they will come again.. just a normal part of our loss cycle I believe. Our body needs time to catch up to all thats happening with it. Also with adding the workouts, you are likely building muscle as well. Make sure you measure at least once a month, that way when you plateau, you can measure and feel good knowing you are still shrinking!
You really are doing wonderful with your comittment to the exercise! I am very proud of your efforts.
Yes..lots of new beginnings for sure. And YES I am all over Candice on nutritional intake, getting her appt's set (which she wants to do anyhow asap). I even gave her a months worth of bariatric supplements and told her take em no matter how much she doesn't like em. Told her don't do it for you or me..do it for that little one!
Good luck with your painting project. Don't over do it! And you are right.. I REALLY need to take some time for me.
Hugs!

I too have our service men and women in my mind and heart today. Extending my appreciation to all service members past and present. Also, I think it is important to remember the ones who went to war and made it home "whole" as we would consider them to be if not injured. But they suffered much emotionally, and the trauma they witnessed and experienced is massive. So I am keeping them in my prayers and thoughts today as well.

The weather here in Southern Colorado is cool and cloudy. Kinda blah today. Supposed to have been a nicer day than it is turning out to be, but here I am for another day in this world. Thats a wonderful thing, clouds, sun, rain, snow, or whatever each day hold for me.

Wishing I could wiggle my nose and have my house magically put in place..lol. Still much to do. Have had many errands, and other things related to the move going on, and have not had much time to focus on putting things in thier places. Also need to go buy many sets of curtains and rods, as I don't like the fish bowl feeling..lol. All of this work has kept me from my formal walks, and from any other exercise plan, although I am getting in TONS of activity, and with all the boxes and stuff, probably lots of toning too. Will be glad when it settles down and I can focus on me and my journey a bit more.

I am drinking, getting my meals and protein in, and most always very good choices there. Taking supplements and all that good stuff too!
Hugs...have a wonderful day all!

Made it back from the walk.  The dogs are done with the prancing, although I got the impression they would have gone farther.  Cottage and peach again for breakfast.  Toodles till later, pillow calling my name.  I hear it calling, "come on in and rest a while.  We haven't chatted since last evening."  Think my mind is getting tired.  The inanimate objects now have words.  lol

Take care everyone.  Catch you after I sleep.  Hugs, Kathy
