Question About Noises
Hello! I am only 9 days post-op (wow! that went fast!!) and am beginning to wonder about some of the changes in my body and whether or not they will be permanent. In particular, my new plumbing is making a heck of a lot of noise, noise that is so loud I swear my husband working in the next room can hear them! They are LOUD!!
Is this just my system settling in, getting rid of the gas from the surgery, getting used to an all liquid diet at the moment? If so, then I assume it will go away at some point. Or, do others of you deal with such a noisy belly permanently??
LOL!!! I am jsut imagining how I am going to explain this to the college students I meet with when I get back to work!
Thanks for your input!

Congrats on successfull surgery. Sometimes out pouches are very talkative. Patrece named hers bubbles for the noises that it shares with the world. Mine isn't too bad, although the gas from below is nasty. I would rather deal with the noises than the stench. Best of luck with the noisy plumbing. Hugs, Kathy

Since writing my note, Selmer (yes, I named the pouch) has been shouting up a storm. Lovely how our bodies communicate with us. Hope you get lots of great answers.

Hi Rebecca, other than the noises, how are you doing after surgery? Getting in your fluids? Protein? Walking? Great to see you posting. Love to hear more about your story. Hugs, Kathy

EXPERIENCE WITHOUT REFLECTION IS HOLLOW
my insides are still noisy as ever! Some days are better than others. Right now, bubbles is gurgling up a storm... but has been for days now. She is not happy, has been hurting too. Checking with the doc in the morning.
I am 1 year 3+ months out, and the noises have never gone away for me. They do settle down for many tho, and may still for me.. we shall see.
Good luck!
Shannon and Rebecca... great to hear from you both!
