Bariatric Buddy
Good Morning Everyone
Well we are up and enjoyed a bit to eat and having my coffee waiting for it to be time to go to curves for my 90 minute workout. Going to try to start the week out right this week. Last week was just absolutely all messed up and it just felt to me all week like I was behind the eight ball. I don't know if this is a common feeling but I am at a point now with my exercise routine that it seems like the more I exercise the more my body wants. Sounds weird huh? Anyway, we will probably shoot for 4-5 days at curves this week and some walking. Going to get back to my painting project today also, the days are going past very quickly and I need to get things wrapped up with the painting so that I can start concentrating on the holiday. Good morning everyone. Just getting home from work, got one of those calls a little after 1 am, panic, help needed at work right now. I work night shift, just not scheduled last night. Went in to help out for a few hours. Spent about 5.5 hours there, until things straightened out again.
The fog is thick, like pea soup this morning. Spotted someone out driving in the dark with just the parking lights on, nearly didn't see them. I was up at the gym around midnight, got my daily exercise in, the walk on the treadmill just flew by, I was caught up in the book I was reading. Just need to get a few hours of sleep. Getting to sleep at the same time as hubby this week, he rotatated back to the week of night shifts. Our weekends off work are on opposite weekends. I just ended my weekend off, his off is this coming weekend. Makes it hard to plan things to do together.
Last of the training sessions for leading a support group is this afternoon. Chat tonight, unless work calls again. Several of the staff are unavailable for one reason or another. Between the two things on the schedule, sleep.
Remember those having surgery today. Get in your protein, fluids and supplements. Be kind to yourself today.
