Time lapse in MN

I was napping for work this afternoon, working night shift tonight.  Hubby stopped in to give me a kiss bye before he went to church service tonight.  I woke up this evening thinking that it was Sunday and what was I doing napping, I am off this Sunday.  My arms and legs felt like I had 15 blankets piled on the bed, couldn't move under the weight of the blankets.  Drifted back to sleep.  Woke up before the alarm went off tonight.  Recalled the above feeling, now my legs and arms moved easily, I only had the usual 2 layers on the bed.  What a weird sensation, felt like my pajamas were sewn to the fitted sheet.  I slept well and feel refreshed, what kind of dream state was I in during the partial awareness?  Not sure.  Having the days of the week confused is semi normal for me, I go to work at 11 pm, shift to a different "day" at midnight.  Good thing there are calendars and the time/date in the lower corner of the computer.

I made it to the gym, 45 minutes on the treadmill.  Now I am fully awake and ready to face the work shift.  I am "reading" or rather listening to a book while on the treadmill.  Bought a Kindle reader last year.   Goes in streaks and spurts when I use it.  Nice to be able to have the book read to me while I walk.  I take my glasses off to mop the sweat and can't see the page.  Also makes it easy to ignore others that are working out.  I get lost in the story.  Right now into a murder mystery that takes place on a ranch.  I read the twilight series this way.  Looking forward to seeing the next movie in the series.

Everyone sleep tight.  Check back in the morning.  I listened to the first part of the leadership training today.  Working on completing the training this month.  Can't wait to see what everyone has on their minds tomorrow.  Hugs, Kathy

I have seen the kindle offered on I think amazon.com, not sure exactly what it is tho ... I know it reads books to you, but is it like an mp3 or what? Do ya think it was worth the money?

Good for you getting in the exercise this evening. Were you on the live leadership training call? Or was it recorded?  You are gonna be a great leader!

Have a wondefful night at work tonight. Hope all goes smoothly for you. Talk to you tomorrow!
Nitey nite!
Hugs!

Oh yeay.. worked alot today! Have a terrible back ache to show for it all. Feet sore too. I started my cycle last night. Today, this evening actually I started bleeding so hard, I thought perhaps I was hemorraging. Terrible. My cycle has been coming every 2 to 3 weeks, and I bleed harder than ever, and this evening was the worst! Need to talk to my doc and ask her to just let me have the uterus yanked.. haven't made use of it in over 21 years! lol.

Hi again, take a peek on Amazon, read the info on the kindle.  I like that I can have a book read to me, the base price has dropped since I got one.  Still need to purchase the book, instantly downloads onto the kindle.  Trouble, can't share books with anyone.  Good point can have hundreds of books at your fingertip and not have to pick up anything heavier than the kindle.  No dusting books on a book shelf, Paul could listen to books being read.  The books are read by computer generated voice, pronunciations sometimes a bit off.

Live leadership training.  Next session at 1 this afternoon.  Work went smoothly.

Get a hold of your MD about the cycles, need to maintain your hemoglobin somehow.  The move will be complete soon, just the unpacking then.  You can unpack at a slower pace.  Necessities first.

See i am one of those people that if I bought the book, I'd want the hard copy too. Seems like a lot of money to spend to get it read to you, then if your kindle poops out, possibly lose all the books you buy.. Or is there a back up of somekind so you can always retrieve them again?

Gonna call the doc next week and make an appoitment. This cycle stuff is just getting way too out of hand. Think it is the change beginning to take place, but of course, thats just a thought, and really need to get my female check-up scheduled too.

Just take the doggone thing I say.. just take it.. haven't used it in forever, and won't be using it again to the best of my knowledge!
Have a wonderful day Kathy!
Hugs and love!

You have a back up of your titles at Amazon.  You can erase books from your device and reload them at another time for no charge.  Kind of like having a bookshelf somewhere, somehow.

I was up for the second session of leader training, now headed back to bed for another pillow talk session.  Toodles till later.  Hugs, Kathy
