I have uploaded the image but it will not replace the old one. Does anyone know how to delete the old one? It appears to have uploaded correctly but didn't automatically change it.

Thanks in advance for any insight on this. I have searched the website looking for help also.

Susan, I have had this issue before too, just wait, the avatar will change, probably next time you ender the OH site.  One day, seemed to take several hours for the avatar to change.  Like weight loss, all good things are worth waiting for.  I am headed to your photos to see what your new one will look like, hope to find it there.  Hugs, Kathy

Wow, looking wonderful, your face shows the loss.  And the smile says it all.  Keep up the good work.  Your little girl is just precious too.  Hugs, Kathy

Thank you very much! I hope to get a full body shot up soon. It's strange my mind plays tricks on me. I know I have lost weight but when I look in the mirror I don't see much of a change. However, if I look at photo's I can see a difference.

Thanks for the tips and your comments.

You are welcome Susan.  I have a sister named Susan.  Good name.  I know what you mean by the mirror image.  I look in the mirror, see a few changes, but my mind still sees the larger, former me.  The surgery was on out stomach, not our minds.  The mind is the hard work of this weight loss.

Come and vent anytime, hope the avatar change happens soon for you.  Keep smiling and give your daughter a hug for me.  Hugs, Kathy

Susan, Its called dysmorphia. A VERY common occurance among obese poeple who have lost weight. Ya know the funny thing (funny as in strange) is the psych lady I spoke with said that it usually only affects those who have been obese all thier lives, and since I was not obese until around age 22, that she felt good that I wouldn't struggle with it. But, I do too at times.
It takes work (mental) on our part to break through this. But we can!

You new pic looks awesome!

I am struggling with putting up an Avatar too.  Anything I try to upload is too big.  I have tried several times.  Any suggestions?

Keep the faith

Sue, go to a free avatar resizing site, there are several, some here use photobucket.  Resize the pic to 100 by 100 pixels, then it will be easy to upload as your avatar.
