MIA Once Again

Sorry to have been missing once again.... long story short - I found out I was Pregnant early last week- was ecstatic but worried due to the iron issues!!! I was rushed to the ER early Monday morning with possible ectopic pregnancy - Tuesday  had to have a D & C with exploratory surgery to make certain it was not ectopic - it was NOT - thank goodness! I did lose the baby, but tubes are intact.... They did find a rather nasty cyst and removed it - I came away with 13 staples which will be removed on Tuesday and will talk to the OB about the kind of cyst it was - had to promise the OB 24/7 baby sitter with me in order to get released from Hospital late last night or she would have made me stay till Tuesday.... So I am back home as comfy as one can be mentally and physically at this time.

I am going to wobble on back to my bed, try to get comfy and get a nap, as I have not had much sleep since Surgery - pain meds wire me so to speak - and I am on percoset every 4 hrs and vicoden every 4 hrs so pain meds every 2 hrs is making me loopy and sleepy but wired at the same time.....

Hope you all have a great Friday -

Wow Phyllis, you plate is full.  Sorry about the loss.  How is the iron issue going anyway?  Behave today and this weekend.  Take it easy and keep sipping.  How are you doing in dealing with this?

Thank you Kathy..... Iron is still at 22, so no loss on that with not having a transfusion in the last few weeks which is great! Pain meds are dulling most of the pain including the emotions right now, we are dealing as well as we can at the moment. I am sure it will jump up and bite me in the ass soon though. This was a very much wanted baby, I had a tubal reversal a few years back so I could attempt to get PG again. This is my second pg in 2 yrs both ending in loss.

Ok for really real this time I am off to try to get comfy and take a nap...

Well, I hope you are resting. I'm so sorry to hear about your baby, the lost of a child is one of the hardest losses a person can endure. Please take extra good care of yourself. You and your family are in my prayers, both for your comfort and for future blessings.
Look to God and your spouse for comfort and care,
Tania
