Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Good morning. You should be taking in about 1 ounce which is (I believe) 2 tablespoons. But if you are full before you eat it all, stop eating. Thats the one very important key to our wls success is knowing when to stop. And stopping before we are stuffed. My surgeons office had me gradually increasing until I was at 1/4 cup by 3 months out, which is 2 oz. Then to 1/2 cup by 6 months out. Then by one year out they say one cup (8 oz) at max, and to keep intake there for life at each meal. I was a year out on July 21st. There are times I still cannot eat quite a cup, and times a cup seems not quite enough. It depends alot on how dense the food is I am eating. When eating soups, it is recommended you eat only the solids from the soup, as the broth will wash a lot of the solids from your pouch.
You may try taking a vanilla protein and mixing it into orange crystal light. It tastes a lot like an orange creamsicle. I enjoy it bet this way. (protein supplements).
Good luck and ask away on anything you need to! All docs have thier own way of doing things, so I can't promise the regimine I put above will apply to what your surgeon recommends.
Hugs!
