Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have not been on in while but I had surgery on 10/22.  Rough few days in hospital which is typical post surgery.  Came home Monday 10/26.  Everyday is getting better and better.  I expected to be tired a least a little but I am wide awake and trying to fall sleep.
On clear liquids, which I have no issues with

Hi Sue, so glad that you are home.  Follow the program set out by your doctor.  I had sleepless nights for a few too.  I was up for a few hours in the middle of the night for several days, it eventually worked out.  Welcome to the loser's bench.  Looking forward to reading about your loss.

Hugs, Kathy

I had that too - waking up at night and not being able to get back to sleep.  It went away pretty fast for me, though.  Within a week or less.
Congratulations!  Welcome to the losers' bench!

I'm having the RNY. Hopefully soon just waiting on insurance approval. My first name is Becce it's pronounced Becky just a wierd spelling. lol I think that I have to many questions. They mostly are about the post-op diet. I'm mostly confused about the first few weeks but I'm sure my dr. will give me detailed info soon. Thank you for making me feel welcome here.

You are welcome, thanks for the name clarification.  I have made interesting mistakes trying to figure out a name from a user name.  Love the individuality.  Feel free to post your specific questions, read the information from your MD.  Hugs, Kathy

It is great to ask questions as that is the only way to get the "real" deal.  My MD office was great but I still had tons of questions.  Right now I am in the clear liquid phase which is to last for two weeks.  Thursday is one week already.  The clears are getting to me though but I am being patient.  I drink 1/2 strength apple juice, broth, jello and flavored water.  No big emphasis on protein yet.  I tried an isopure supplement but the taste was disgusting. I just wanted some different juice but all the others have too much sugar.  Today I will try carnation instant brkft sugar free which MD office said was okay....it is not clear but whatever they say.

Keep the faith
