New way for squash
I had left over squash from this weekend, craving it again today and trying to figure out how to get protein value into it. My canister of unjury chicken sits near the stove,. I mixed up a cup of unjury, dropped in a glob of cooked squash and blended with my stick blender. I am going to do that again, nummmmmy. Not I have energy to tackle the next project.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Hi Terry,
I found out from others, that you mix it up well in warm water, then can heat it up warmer than 130 degrees without it curdling. 130 degrees was luke warm to me. I am sure there are recipes on the unjury site.
I plan to mix frozen veggies with it. Also used it in a crustless pot pie, thickened up the recipe so it was the consistency of hash. I didn't even miss the crust. I used cream soup, milk, scoop of unjury chicken and frozen veggies, seasonings(garlic and parsley). Baked at 350, covered dish for 20-30 minutes, depends on thawing of veggies added. Do not add extra salt, plenty salty alone. Made baking powder biscuits for the hubby and he was fine with it.
Tastes good when I want something warm but not sweet. I will be ordering more when this container is getting low. I will add any recipes I come up with to the recipe thread here on the bariatric buddy page.
Hugs, Kathy

Very creative! I like the Unury Chicken flavor too. sometimes in the evening when it is cool, I like to just sip on a cup of the broth from it.
