Couple of WOW moments.

Hi everyone, I noticed my face over with Patrece and Vick.  Thanks for all that supported me in going for leadership training.  I have my first class sometime in November.

I have been staying at the same numbers on the scale for quite a few days now.  So I decided to remeasure and see, the clothes are feel looser.  I did my last measuring on Sept 16th. about 4 weeks ago.  In those 4 weeks I have lost 1 inch on my neck and calf, 3 inches from my chest, waist and hips, 2 inches from my bicep, 1.5 from my thigh, 1.25 from my forearm.  Total of 20.5 inches.  Weight loss for the month 20 pounds.  I feel better just seeing the numbers, even though the scale is stuck around where it is right now.  I can deal with this.  Wow moment indeed.

Remember when the scale has you in the dumps, get out the old tape measure and check the numbers.  There is a great place to keep your record in the health tracker on your page.  I tend to write things on little slips of paper and then lose them.  Nice to not be tracking little slips of paper.

Be good to yourself today.  Hugs, Kathy

Congratulations on the inches lost, that's wonderful!!   I've actually gained 1..5 lbs in the past few days, not sure why, nothing has changed, and I'm exercising, so I'm not going to worry about it, maybe it's water retention or something!  I'll just keep on track, and wait for my body to let the fat go!

Great attitude Karen.  Keep up the positive vibes and the loss will catch up with your body.  That is how I am looking at things.  What are you doing for exercise?    Hugs, Kathy

You ladies are all doing great! Keeping an upbeat attitude even when the scale is playing with you, is the best way to deal with it. I too am having the same scale game going on, and I have been eating well and really really active.. go figure.. We will Prevail! Just part of the mystery of the journey.

Kathy you asked about exercise, I have been walking between 1 and 3 miles a day, depending on what I have going on, and I've been going to water aerobics once a week.  It's cold so I've been using the treadmill,  but I find it easier walking outside, the time seems to go faster!
