Here I am, first up this am.  Well not really just up.  I just arrived home from work and am headed off to bed for a few hours.  Feels good to be back to work, not overdoing things.  Took the dogs for a walk at dusk last evening.  Odd time of the day.  Walked on crunchy leaves and stayed in the best choices of street lighting.

Please be good to yourselves today.  Get in a walk and enjoy wat is left of fall.  Hugs, Kathy

Good Morning Kathy,   Get a good days rest.   I am assuming you are a nurse as you seem to be working the same kind of hours that my daughter does.  lol.   It takes a special person.     Sounds like you are doing wonderfully for not being that far out from your surgery.   Take care and god bless...........Anna

Hey Kathy,  My daughter also works nights but she works in a nursing home, twelve hour shifts.      She is a lpn by the way.   I am glad you are doing well and your weight seems to be disappearing pretty good so far I would say.   My stepdaughter also had the rny, she  had hers on August 14th of this year.   So you are only like a couple of weeks apart.   She has lost 44 lbs so far post op.   I just convinced her to join curves about a week ago so now she is working out too.  Of course, she just got released for that type of exercise on Aug 8th.     You sure seem to be doing everything right with your activities, and I know that you are getting a lot of exercise at work.     A very rewarding career by the way.   Yea I am not very crazy about heights myself but have learned that if I want certain things done I have to do them.  lol.   My dizziness, by the way is much better today so I am planning to try to finish my masterbedroom off this afternnon and possibly start on the spare room.      It seems I have so much more energy these days and I really sometime push myself too far because I tend to not be a patient person.   Well got to go, so hopefully you will get a lot of rest today and have a good nite tonight.   Hugs and god bless..............Anna

Morning Kathy, and everyone else!  It is a chilly fall day here in Colorado.  But so pretty with the changing of the leaves.
I will be heading out in a bit with the dogs for out walk around the neighborhood, out in the middle of no where..lol
Then I will be off with  my Dad to town to take pictures of the town to show his brother how much it has changed here.  Bunches of walking to do today.
Have a good talk with your pillow and have a good day everyone!

Morning Ladies! Great to see you all here and posting this lovely Sunday morning! It is sunny and blue, and a bit breezy here in Southern Colorado this morning.  Looks like another beautiful day here for us. I hope you all are blessed with the same! I am going to go to a little park nearby, where there is a small fishing pond for kids. There is a cement walkway that goes around the pond. 4 laps is equal to one mile...so I will walk there, go around it several times, and walk back home. Its a great day to be outside and enjoy the weather while it lasts. I am also considering taking a drive to Colorado Springs today for a visit with my husbands Mother. Her recovery from her aortic anyerism has been slow, and she is feeling rather down, as she has always been very active and independant and this recovery has her feeling as if she's lost these things. I tried to reassure her, that she will get it back, but it takes a long time to heal from an open surgery. Her incision went from her pubic line to the bottom of her rib cage. Its been about 6 weeks now since her surgery. She is 78 years old, and before her surgery you'd have sworn she was much younger. So active all the time. I told her to just recover and by spring, she'll be planting her flower beds again.
Have an awesome day gals, and take a moment just for you!
Hugs!

Good afternoon all! Sounds like everyone is doing great this gorgeous Sunday. It's back to work tonight for me, so even tho it's onlyl 2pm here I'm off for a nap. I managed to eat chilli for lunch with no problems! Yay me! lol. I also got a quick 15 minute walk in. I didn't realize how out of shape I am. 15 minutes seems to be all I can do right now at one time without keeling over.

Enjoy your sunday everyone...If I don't check in before work tonight I'll "see" ya'll tomorrow morning when I get home!

Hugs,
