Sorry to be MIA once again.... With School work and Handsome Man no longer being out on the road I do not have the ME time I used to.

Trece I have to say OMG You look AWESOME!!!!! I took a pic of your pic with my cell and sent it to Ashley... she said OMG She looks GREAT!! You two look more like sisters than you did 20 years ago!!  Mom is coming for dinner tonight I am going to show her your pic, I am sure her mouth will hit the floor!!! Keep up the GREAT work girlie!!! I am so flipping proud of you!!! I remember when I was just about to have surgery you told me you would NEVER be able to have the WLS because you loved your fried foods way too much and now look how far you have come!!!

Update on Iron Transfusion saga -- Could not get Transfusion last week - Creatinine level (Kidney Function) way to high - since I started the transfusions the Creatinine level has been 0.09 but Fridays was 1.5! normal for a woman is 0.06-1.1.. They then had me redo blood work yesterday to see if it had come down and they called and told me it has gone UP!! So no transfusions for 2 weeks - redo blood work again to see how Creatinine level is and go from there- I do know the transfusions are working September 4 my iron level was 3 Oct 11 it was 22 still have a long way to go as normal range is 50-150 but I am getting there!!

Gotta get running to finish up dinner .... Hope everyone has a great evening!!

Hugs
Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, I went to visit Patrece and Paul a couple of weeks ago, she is looking hot.  Needed to get the new photo for her to update the avatar.  Good job on getting your iron up some, hope the kidneys cooperate and you can continue to get the transfusions to help you.  Do you have more energy?  Have fun with dinner.

I am making stuffed pepper for myself, using a meatloaf recipe for the stuffing, no rice.  Shaped the rest of the pound of hamburger into a meatloaf for Dennis, he won't eat stuffed peppers.  I am cooking both in the same pan, have to see what he says about that.  The tomato soup is bathing both choices.  I think it will taste great.  Patrece got me hooked on stuffed pepper again while I was there.  Had so much fun during the visit.  Take care of yourself Phyllis.  Hugs, Kathy

Hey Phyl! Thank you for the compliments. Bless your heart! yeah I remember when I thought between the fried foods and my pepsi, I'd never be able to do it, but i did, and I am doing well with compliance. really don't miss pepsi at all. Do miss some fried foods, but I'm gonna live through it. So... what did your Mom have to say about my pic? tell ashley thanks for me!

I sure hope your kidneys will get themselves straightened out so you can get back to the iron transfusions and get the level up to norm. Are you feeling better at all? How is your hubby doing? Does he like his new job? Are you happier with him home every night? Bet so!
So good to finally hear from you again. Hope you can pop in a little more often.
Hugs!
