Hello world, I would like you to meet a new friend of mine.  My friend is Selmer.  Selmer lives at the end of my esophagus and is content as long as I feed him properly.  How do you like the name of my pouch?  I think it is a hoot.  Hat a great time at chat tonight.  Thanks to everyone who came and participated.

Please keep Flo in your thoughts and prayers, she is not feeling well and hopefully headed to ER.

Till next post.  Thattttttttt's all folks.  Hugs, Kathy

Welcome, Selmer!!  :)  And thanks to everyone in chat tonight!  It was so nice to be in a place where I could really talk about my upcoming surgery.  And as I was telling some of you, I loved picking up the idea of naming my pouch once it arrives.  It is giving me a warm, fuzzy feeling....one of anticipation and love, rather like welcoming a new child or an old friend...or maybe something in between.  Anyway, I am working on the name for my pouch-to-be.  Hmmm, I like the idea of naming it after a grandmother.  I love my much loved grandmother two years ago.  She would think it's a riot if I named it after her!!!

Thanks again for a lovely chat.  Even though I came late, I felt welcomed, included, and accepted.  <<>>  Love those kinds of feelings!!!

Be well everyone.  And Flo, I hope you did get to the ER and are now well on your way to feeling better!!

Selmer... very different, and a great name. Is there a meaning to it, or just a random name you picked? My Pouch was named long long ago... it's name is Bubbles. Bubbles is named bubbles because that seems to be its primary form of communication. It still bubbles and gurgles alot. But she is my bubbles and I allow her to speak her mind whenever she likes...as if I have a choice???LOL. Nighty nite Kathy!

Was flo finally talking that she might go to the ER? I suggested it many times during chat, and hope she does. I think her surgeon should be looking in to it more.. FLO... hugs and prayers coming at you. I hope you enjoyed chat tonight and hope to see you much more! Please keep us posted on how things are going for you.

Guayas, I am so happy that you joined us for chat tonight. The way you felt in there, is how we want and intend for everyone to feel. Our group here is all about truly caring about one another. We are friends, and extended family. I am so glad that you felt accepted and cared about, because you are...as is everyone. One reason i started this group is because I found there weren't enough that offered true caring for one another, and because I am a caring and loving person, I wanted to offer a group based on this to others who need this and also want to offer this to others. I hope you stay with us!

Hugs to all!

Selmer, came to me all of asudden during chat after you left, we were visiting about pouch names and is popped into my head.  My grandma was Selma, and I knew a selmer years ago that was a sweet old guy.  Sometimes the sweet guys have another growly nature that is hidden from public view.  Selmer has a growly nature that is hidden from public view.

That's basically it.  I may adjust the name if Selmer demands, for now, Selmer it is.

I think Flo was having her husband drive her to ER.  Waiting to hear any word back.

Great group at chat tonight.  Hugs to everyone, Kathy
