BRAs
I had to take today off to get Clint's van to a repair shop, pronto. Brakes were grinding? (Don;t ask why he waited so long to take care of it (procrastination), luckily he has other good attributes! So he got stuck sitting in the Avenue while I tried on bras. (Punishment I say!)
Boy do I hate to shop for bras. HATE it! But mine are flopping around in these old bras and are screaming for more support! So I went shopping. Bad idea. I tried on about 10 and the one I liked was not padded so of course I had "headlights." Why me?
My problem seems to be underarm skin/fat. I am down to a 38 or 40 C or D depending on the bra. But the skin/fat is inconveniently hanging over the edge, do I need flaps? I say no. No flaps. I hate bras. From now on I am going braless. Just maybe not to work. However I did not buy any "headlight bras" and the other well, the also were not purchased so Floppsey and Moppsey are still wandering around in the great abyss. Maybe I will try Lane Bryant, that is where I bought them last time and they had normal ones with PADDING, thank goodness. At least they used too. PLEASE, please let them still have them!
OMG, I fit into a pair of 16W jeans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in a 22W in August and now I am wearing a pair of 16WP jeans and they fit fine! (Disclaimer, not all 16WP pants fit yet, but it is a start!) Happy Day! I guess that makes up for The Great Bra Debacle.
Say prayer that I find some new bras. I cant tighten these anymore, maybe I could sew the sides tighter until comfortable bras fall from heaven. Can you tell I am not a shpper???
Anyway, TTFN!,

I thought about bra shopping yesterday, then Dennis invited himself to my followup appointment. He needed to get home to take his sleep time before working night shift. So, not yet. I hear that Lane Bryant shops have bra fitters, I was hoping to try that out. Then yesterday, while tossing some of the overly used, ripped and stretched out bras, I found a couple in the bottom of the drawer that had been just a little too small last time I saw them. Fit perfect for now, guess my girls are safe for the time being. I really will need to go bra shopping in a few weeks.
Congrats on getting down to a size 16. I got a surprise, went from 22/24 to fitting in a 18/20. The 22/24's felt like I had riding pants on, the thigh areas were hanging out there like wings.
Good luck on finding homes for floppsy and moppsy that are just right instead of extra spacious. The last support group I attended, we talked about bras, there was someone there *****commended buying your bra on the small side and using a set of extenders to add more to the band size to get you through another stage of weight loss.

I have always fought with Bra's. Seems I always float between B and C no matter what size I need around. I hate that! I too am NOT much of a shopper, especially clothing shopping.
Congrats on the reduction in pant sizes ladies! You gals are doing great!!!!!!!!
