Yea!! I made it and I'm home!

Hi All,

I had my surgery on 9/28/09 and I came home yesterday.  I stayed anextra night in the hospital, because I was having so much pain. I was sent for a cat scan to rule out pulmonary embolism, because my heartrate was up.  Everything checked out okay. They were thinking maybe it was the pain that was causing my heartrate to rise. I haven't been outside to walk out yet, but have been up and down the stairs a few times, and walking plenty in the house. I do plan on going out later. As
I'm typing I feel the gas starting to move.  I saw in another post, that a heating pad helps also. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm back and to keep the support coming, it really does help!

Hugs,
Rita

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Congrats Rita,
We're all in this together!!.. Praying a speedy recovery for you!! Things will get better each day. BTW, for the gas, you can try Gas-X strips too.. It really helped me with the gas that was in my chest!!

Take care and God bless,
Flo
