I completed a goal !

Had a wow moment today, stepped on the scale, it hadn't been moving much.  Today I made one of my goals, to be below 300#.  The scale said 296.9, I really broke through the 300 barrier.  It feels good to be able to cross something off the goal list.  Time to work on the next goal.  It will happen too.

Today is also the day I can start transitioning from pureed to soft foods.  Wooohooo, what a day it is.  Maybe I should have listed wonderful Wednesday at the subject.  Not going to change a thing.

To continue my good news, I slept all night, just up for a couple of minutes around 4 am for a dose of tylenol and bathroom.  Yeehawwwww.

Today's plans include a dog walk or two, meeting someone to go to the gym at 1pm and stopping by the clinic for a lab draw.  Other than that, I plan to do something fun for me, not sure what that will be yet, let you all know later on.

I am headed to my dad's place on Friday to go to a family reunion with him on Saturday and will spend some time traveling with him.  Could come up with a list of things I will need to get packed.  Dennis knows he will be in charge of carrying everything to the car for me and dad said he will do the lifting at his end of the drive.  Lifting restrictions still at 10 pounds for another week.

After I saw my signature and the number 62, I just had to edit and add that I got that elephant's penis, the ginea pig and the dozen Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts off my back.   Yayyyy     For anyone who missed the fun list, look back a few days to the thread about things I lost.

How is everyone else doing today?  Please find something nice to do for someone else.  Be good to yourselves and follow the program.  Hugs, Kathy

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

YEAYYYYYYY!!!!!!! Great Job Kathy! Don't ya just love it when the scale takes those BIG jumps?? When that would happen to me I'd have to get back on it another time or two to be sure I was reading it right..LOL.   You are on your way baby! I am soooo happy for you!

I am still stuck at the 170 but hey...that is a 100 lbs down from where I started, so who am I to complain really? I actually had 2 people today tell me I am looking good and they seemed to think I am looking slimmer than the last time they saw me, which was about 2 months in both cases. Didn't think the 6 or 7 lbs lost in that time was appearant.
Kathy I am so proud of you and all of your hard work and diligence! keep up the great work! What an accomplishment!
Hugs!
