surgery over

Had my rou-n-Y done on the 17th.  All went well.  I came home on the 19th.  Still feeling a little weak, but have been able to do my walks and pretty much normal daily activities.  Everything was done laproscopically so I don't have a big incision to worry about.  I am so grateful to have the surgery out of the way.  It was a drama up to the end .  I had had trouble getting all the pre-op paperwork from my primary to the surgery center and as I was sitting in the recliner being prepped for the procedure the surgery coodinator came in and said that they had only part of my preop physical paperwork.  I was ready to explode but they did track it all down and I went on as scheduled and now that is over.  The hard part is on-going of course but I'm doing well on clear liquids.   Like I said before I feel kind of weak but no pain or sickness.  Except some pesky allergies that cause my sinuses to drip like leaky facets and make me cough.  I have taken my allergy medicne but it isn't doing much (I've checked and my lungs are ok--no infection) I am going to get a netti pot tomorrow.  I had one but can't find it .  Hopefully with that I won't be online in the middle of the night tommorrow.  Thanks for all the support.

Glad to hear your surgery went well. Sorry to hear about the allergies but at least you know it's not an infection.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Congrats on your surgery going well, here is to hopes of a speedy recovery!
I completely understand, and sympothize with you on your allergies, it comes with the changing of every season for me except from fall to winter. And sometimes just at the drop of a hat my faucets start to run lol.
I was to the point of pulling my hair out about my paperwork,  But I have rounded up test results that my PCP's office lost track of myself. This week on friday I go for PCP visit,
wooohooo he better be ready to get an earfull!!!
Meanwhile, take it easy, get in all your protien and rest well. Glad you are back.
We are here if you need anything.
