Here's a fun way to look at your weight you have lost. Try it out, and let us know your results.

4 sticks of butter equals 1 lb of fat. So... how many sticks of butter have you lost?
I am down 100 lbs... so I have lost 400 sticks of butter! Man the money I could have made off of all that buttter if I had sold it...lol.

How's that for a visual to help you recognize your progress!
Who's next?????

232 sticks of butter.  Wow, that a lot of cholesterol.

While you were gone, I posted another fun way to look at losses, see below.

Found a fun list of things lost weight is equivalent to.  So far I have lost a sperm whales brain (16#), a car tire(20#),10 dozen large eggs(15#),a rack of baby back ribs (2#) and an average human brain (3#), or a total of 56#.

Four more pounds and I can just claim to have lost an elephant's penis (60#)

Let's have fun with our losses. Got this list from my doc's office when I went for pre op teaching.

How much do you want to lose?

A Loss of:   Is the equivalent of:
1#                A guinea Pig
1.5#            A dozen Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts
2#               A rack of baby back ribs
3#               An average human brain
4#               An ostrich egg
5#               A Chihuahua
6#               A human skin
7.5#            An average newborn
8#               A human head
10#            Amount of chemical additives an American eats in a year
11#            An average housecat
12#            A bald eagle
15#           Ten dozen large eggs
16#           A sperm whale's brain
20#           A car tire
23#           Amount of  pizza (lets call  it peetsa) an average American eats in a year
24#           A three-gallon tub of super premium ice cream
25#           An average two-year old child
30#            Amount of cheese an average American eats in a year
33#            A cinder block
36#            A mid-sized microwave
40#           A five-gallon bottle of water or an average human leg
44#           An elephant's heart
50#           A small bale of hay
55#           A 5,000 BTU air conditioner
60#           An elephant's penis
66#           Amount of fats and oils an average American eats in a
 year
70#           An Irish Setter
77#           A gold brick
80#          The World's largest Ball of Tape
90#           A newborn calf
100#         A two-month old horse
111#        Amount of red meat an average American eats in a year
117#        An average fashion model (and she's 5'11")
118#        The complete Encyclopedia Britannica
120#         Amount of trash you throw away in a month
130#         A newborn giraffe
138#         Amount of potatoes an average American eats in a year
140#         Amount of refined sugar an average American eats in a
year
144#         An average adult woman (and she's 5'4")
150#         The complete Oxford Dictionary
187#         An average adult man
200#         Two Bloodhounds
235#         Arnold Schwarzenegger
300#         An average football lineman
400#          A Welsh pony

You can mix and match for maximum fun.  For example, a loss of 128# means that you've lost "almost a newborn giraffe" or:

Ten dozen large eggs, four dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, two Chihuahua, two Guinea Pigs, one Elephant penis, an average 2-year old, a human head and a rack of baby back ribs.

The site keeps putting the * there.  It is the round flat dish often served with peparono and cheese. Starts with a P   includes an i, 2 zz's and an a.

Le't see what the site does with that.
