Well all of my dear friends / extended family... I have missed you all very much! It is great to see everyone has been here posting. I don't know how I'd ever catch up on reading and replying to all the posts, so I decided I would start by saying hello to everyone. Please do not feel bad if I do not reply to the past posts! I care about you all very much, but to go that far back and reply would take me so awuful long.

We made it back safe and sound, but the trip was not a fun one. So many difficulties encountered along the way, starting at the first of the 3 airports we had to go through to get to California. Little frustrating and upsetting things throughought the trip back, the last occurring about 1.5 hours before we got home. A fox ran in front of me. It was dark dark, and I could not miss him. I was upset about the possible (and what did occur) damage to the vehicle, but the worse part was I felt so terrible for the poor fox. I just hoped and prayed he did not have time to suffer. I spent the next 1/2 hr crying over hitting the poor fellow. (I am a big time animal lover).

When I am a bit more recooperated from the 14 hr drive yesterday, I will post more about the lovely challenges throughout the journey. It was tough sticking to my dietary needs and walking etc on the trip, so of course I have lost no more weight, but at least did not gain! Thats always a great thing!

I hope everyone is doing great! I hope all you new post ops are doing wonderful and recovering well and adjustoing to the new lifestyle this journey requires.

Talk to you all again very soon. I am pooped and have sooo much to do today after being gone so long.

My love and great big hugs to you all!
Patrece

Thanks Vick, You're an angel! I do need to rest badly! I am worn out.  Not only did the fox damage the front lower bumper, But the day after we picked up the car, someone backed into the rear bumper, and cracked it pretty bad. Very upsetting for a short while, but then we decided that letting it keep us down wouldn't solve anything, decided we will just deal with it after we get settled in back here at home. No amount of upset will change that it happened.

Paul was not at all upset about the damage from the fox. He was more upset about the fox being hit, and the fact that it hurt and upset me soooo much. He was a real sport about it all. He knew I would have never have hit that fox in a million years if I had any choice in it at all. It was very dark and he just ran right into our path. If I would have swerved to try to miss him, that could have resulted in worse danger...to us. I did lightly swerve away from him and he would have been fine, but then he turned back right into my path. Broke my heart!

Will fill ya in on the rest of our poopy trip later.. Ta ta for now! Looking forward to your call this weekend.
Love ya too!

Welcome home Patrece and Hi Paul.  So sorry for the fox.  Rest up and then tell us all about your adventure.  Glad to have you back home safe and sound.  Seeems like months, just only been a few days.

Yep Tania, it was sad for me. But it is great to be back and have everyone giving me such a nice welcome back.
