well, as u lay there sleeping, i am up solving the world's problems. or you are up and about running everythwhere and i am the one who is behind schedule.  have to go to my doc again this beautiful day.  he is a nice man and i enjoy seeing him. he really doess help me alot.

i have my favorite yogurt concoction in the freezer waiting to be devoured.  i have some left over filet mignon from last night so that takes care of lunch or supper.  i think i will stop at the marketplace and get some pecan crusted trout.  i sure have been craving it.

i need to get my butt to an AA meeting.  haven't been since june because of cir****tances in my life that have just seemed out of control. maybe i will go today, i sure want to stay sober.

maybe it is one of you that i can help today. or maybe even somebody in the grocery store.  it sure is important to me and is just a way of life now.

you all have a wonderful day and let me know if i can do anything for you.  hugs vick

Well Vick, turned on the computer, there are still a couple of world problems out there.  You have to get up much earlier and work much harder to get them ail solved.  Love the idea though.  Good news to report.  8 hours in bed and I don't recall laying awake in the middle of the night.  Got more tired yesterday with all the running around and the long drive.

I opened my new box of malt o meal to stir up a toddler serving for breakfast, adding powdered milk for extra protein.
Left overs from that can of soup for lunch, we will see what ideas have popped into my head for supper and snacks.

Get yourself to the meeting, we need you around and healthy.  Been a couple of months, maybe three.  I will keep my eyes and ears open, looking for a soul in need.

Have a great day everyone.  group  Hugs, Kathy

Hey Vick, couldn't even eat half a toddlers portion.  They weren't kidding about boilover.  I was making such a small portion, used a large cereal bowl in the microwave.  Spent time cleaning the micro before it became like concrete.  I did add a shaving of margerine, it was good, and filling.  No room for anything else right now.  Waiting my 30 minutes before I start siping again.

Hadn't thought about naming it yet, what did you name yours?

Good morning to you Vick, and to everyone else... Hope all goes well for you today. And here is to hopes of a good day for us all  .

That pecan crusted trout sure sounds good to me. Bet it is yummy.  I can imagine why you are craving it.
I am out of yogurt til I get some more money. So it is grits for me this morning to go with my coffee.

Hope you get to that AA meeting if you are feeling up to it.  We want you to stay sober!
As for helping someone today, for me it will have to be my mom because I am stuck at home here in this small town with no way to travel but my bike, and it is supposed to rain all day, so I think meee will stay in the house.
I have some more test results to hustle up today so I am going to go on and get these phone calls made and out of the way so I can have a wonderful rainy day watching CSI Miami. lol
Gotta love it...

isn't Horatio a real character.  my husband and i laugh at him all the time.  i plan on staying sober.  hopefully in a weekk or so i will feel more up to things.  it's not a good idea to go without a meeting as long as i have, but there have been cir****tances that have prevented meetings.  i have been sober 21 1/2 years and i sure want to stay that  way. i am staying in touch with others in the program and working the program in my life.  i'll be ok.  come to think of it, i have gone to one meeting in august. couldn't in july because i was babysitting my grandkids all month during the week and i was wiped out during the weekend.  then the surgery. yada yada yada. hugs. vick

Morning Linda.  Nice to see you here again, missed you while you were away.  We had our rainy spell last month.  Looking perfect out there this morning, maybe a little cool, but a good dog walk will warm me up.  Walked them in the dark last night, much better in the light of day.

Let's go out and conquer today.  Hugs, Kathy
