A NEW ME!

How do you like my new pic?  30ish pounds ago I had no photos (cuz I hated them) to share, but here is one they took at a workshop where I teach. No crazy turning of the head or anything! just a normal head shot that shows how much surgery has helped me. Amazing what a few pounds can do, huh! I just might take another one soon, maybe. I lost my double chin and my 22WP and 20WP are getting very baggy, so I guess some 18WP might fit. DH may have to go up to the attic to "shop." Oh yeah, I am back in my XL shirts, down from a 2X... yea!!!!!!!!!!!!
xx, Tania

I LOVE your new pic Tania.  I went clothes shopping today.  Came home with a new tube of toothpaste instead.  I didn't like the way anything I tried on looked.  So I am still in my too large clothes.  I do have some sweaters that didn't fit last winter, that should be just right this winter.  I have been wearing mens 3X t-shirts, for fun and giggles, tried on an XL, It fit, just a few more pounds and I will brave it.

You are looking fantastic.  Keep it up.  Hugs, Kathy

Boy do I know it! I don't plan to shop until I have nothing left to wear, but I do have some of my clothes from when I lost weight before. So far I am still happier in my "old" pants. Soon though!

How are you doing?

I moved in Jan of 2008, thinned my closets to what fit at the time, no smaller stuff stashed away for me.  Tis OK, I will get a couple things to use in the meantime.

I am getting out and about, see some of my posts in the exercise area above.  Getting my shakes in, working my best on the supplements, and water is getting much easier.  I have my first follow up appt. on the 16th.  Should be able to graduate to something that resembles food.  I did try some cottage cheese today, went well.

So I guess I'm doing great.  Just taking it one day at a time.

Hoping to hear more about how you are doing?  Hugs, Kathy

I am now about 5 weeks out and I can tell a difference in my tummy. Eating is much easier. I eat a lot of cottage cheese and refried beans with salsa. Oatmeal for breakfast, low sugaror weight loss.  and sometime now I have sliced ham rolled with no fat cream cheese for lunch (delish), I like a slice of green onion in there too (but this is my first week on "soft meats". So far so good. I also like sugar free applesauce, with slenda and cinnamon.

Tania...YOU look beautiful! You are doing great! And Kathy.. look at that ticker ticking away! Wow ladies! I ate really bad today, and I am soooo bloated. I always get like that if I don't eat right. Serves me right I guess. Hard to travel and eat decent the whole time.
Hugs!
