Thinking of 2001 on this date 9/11.  Seems like just yesterday, yet so long ago that the tragedy of the twin towers and more happened.  I remember being glued to the TV for a few hours that day.  Wondering "What next?"  What are your memories of that time?

Outside it looks like a repeat of yesterday, grey and blah.  Doesn't matter what the weather looks like, we can make the day as great as we want.  And I want a great day.  I am sipping on my chocolate carnation/protein shake.  Thinking about getting out there and taking the dogs for a walk.  Oscar managed to get himself stepped on yesterday as he tried to race for the door,  he is limping on one paw.  That didn't slow him down much on yesterday's walk, he doesn't want to stand on his hind legs at this time.  He looks like he would like to go for a walk today too.  Lucky him, he has 3 good legs.

Let's all get up and move some today.  Have the best day possible and do something fun today.

Hugs, Kathy

Funny (odd) you should mention this, as I too had this on my mind this morning. When the first tower wa**** my husband and I were asleep, and my husbands Mom called us almost hysterical telling us to turn on the TV. I sat in shocked silence as I watched it all unfold. Tears running down my face for those killed, injured, and those who loved them and also for those who had no idea for a long while as to the status of thier family and friends that were unaccounted for for a while. Today, I send up prayers again, in support of those who lost loved ones.

Today was going to be the last day of my husbands personal injury trail. another significant memory for this day. I am glad we have not had to spend the last 2 weeks sitting in that trial, even tho my husband was pretty much robbed in the settlement. But had we won the trial, it would have been appealed for many many years, and we just couldn't go through any more. it was time to pick up the pieces and move on.

As we begin our day today, it is great to take a moment to acknowledge the past events, or those that may have been, but weren't. Then.. lets all move on with a song in our hearts and purpose in our day. Making the most of what we DO have and focusing on that, instead of what we don't.

Hugs to all.

Waking up this morning thinking about the events that happened on this day.  I wont ever forget it, I was living in Tennessee at the time and I was on my way to work and was listening to the events unfold on the radio, of course I could not believe it.  When I got to work I saw on the tv the devastation, and at that time, is when the second plane hit the towers.
Made me think about my family instantly and with them being so far away really hit home.  Not long after that I moved back home to Colorado.

Everyone have a good day, think about the ones that were lost and the ones that survived and the ones who have to carry on without the ones they lost.
