Bariatric Buddy
First Thursday
I have officially lost my fluid weight from surgery, let the losing begin. Enjoying my strawberry carnation/protein drink as I write today. Snuggling my feet in my pom's fur, feels like I have warm fuzzy slippers for my toes. He squirms to get my toes to scratch 'just the right spot'
Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Hugs, Kathy
ps. slept from 11:30 till 7 with just a bathroom call, not roaming the house for hours in the middle of the night. Thanks to benadryl.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...
Are you getting just so excited about your date coming up?
The dogs sometimes feel like velcro, wherever I am, so are they. If I am on the sofa, there they are, same with the desk. Now at bedtime, Gretta has dibs on the bed and Oscar controls the bathroom and attached closet. He either sleeps on a latch hook rug in the corner by the shower or in the dirty clothes basket, after he sorts out and removes all the undergarments from the basket. I had lost some underwear due to him. For awhile, he pulled them out through the holes in the basket, which left large teeth holes from the tugging. He now just tosses them over the top.
Hugs, Kathy

I let me four legged family members out first thing this morning. I need to take them for a walk, just hard to take all 5 of them at once. They tend to get too excited when out on the walks and pull on me, when they want to chase the bird or bunny they see.
Glad to see that you got some good needed sleep Kathy.
Vick it seems to be coming off slowly but better than the standstill that I had. I am getting all my protein in and I think that is making a difference. I am feeling better each and every day.
Pat i am being careful while on the treadmill, I am under the watchful eye of my new coach. I listen to me body and know when I need to quit.
I am off to the gym to burn some more calories!
The sun just popped out here as well, looking a lot nicer outside, still glad the dog walk is over for now.
The sleep was like heaven. Hugs, Kathy

Kathy, if my pooches were smaller it wouldn't matter as much, but with them being from 40 pounds up to 115 pounds and all of them pit bulls, walking one at a time is the limit right now. They all walk well on the leash for me, when it is just me and them. One day I will be able to take them all out and we can walk together as a pack and be the talk of the block!
I will have to post some pictures of my pooches on my profile. You will have to do the same.
The sun is out in full force here already, and it is a balmy 87 degrees out.
