Reminder... we have the activity / exercise topic

I really want to encourage everyone to post there and try to get in at least one (even if small) activity each day. This topic discussion can be a great way to stay motivated and more on track. It can also be a great way to share different ideas of getting in activity, even for those of us who are time challenged or just have a hard time getting off our duffs.

Hope to see more of you  posting there! It really helps us encourage one another and provides a bit of accountability. You don't have to run a marathon.. but just move...

Kathy, getting up is a big step, I know there are days that getting up is about all I can handle in the day.

I went to the gym today, did my walking on the treadmill, and walked 50 min and did 1.5 miles.

Next week they are going to start me off on the weights to work on building up my muscle tone.

Yayyy for you.  I am still on a 10 # limit, just 8 day out from surgery.  Look to the shaded topic box above, the rest of us put our exercise stuff there.
